Emerging Trends in Health, Education, Environment, Physical Education, Sports and Yogic Science”Vol. 68 No. 56 (2020)
"Emerging Trends in Health, Education, Environment, Physical Education,
Sports and Yogic Science”
Date- 20 Feb-21 Feb 2020
Health, Education, environment, Physical education, sports and Yoga are different pillars of society on which lies the responsibility of fitness, development and growth of a society.
Pollution is a serious problem that badly affects the entire earth and living organisms including man. India is the second most populated country. We must adapt new methods to reduce pollution to the maximum otherwise coming generations will suffer a lot.
The importance of physical education, Sports and Yoga has never been realized more than it is today. It is widely recognized that physical education and sports are relevant and important in developing an active and healthy lifestyle and the solution to the rising health and fitness related problems worldwide.
Yoga is one of the Indian philosophical systems that emphasize the importance of the work with the body to develop healthy behaviors and thoughts.
Over the past 70 years, Indian higher educational system has undergone various transformations to lead India to become a knowledge based economy. India now has the largest higher education system in the world in terms of the number of institutions, and the second largest in terms of the number of students. Even after significant progress over the last few decades, our Education System is still suffering from three major problems which are the supply-demand gap of teachers, low quality of teaching-learning and constraints on research capacity &innovation. In realization of the huge potentials of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education, governments have poured huge investments into developing ICT in education plans and into bringing ICT equipment and various tools into higher educational system.
Every day new inventions are taking place in these areas yet we are far away from the status of full satisfaction.
This National Seminar on Emerging Trends In Health, Education, Physical Education, Sports and Yogic Sciences (ETHEPESY 2020) is a humble attempt to create a platform to understand and discuss various issues with respect to the influence of changing world scenario and the emerging global trends in different fields of Health, Education, Environment, and Physical education, Sports and Yoga in general and its effects and experiences in different continents in particular.

International Conference on "Current Issues in Indian Economy" 2020Vol. 68 No. 45 (2020)
About the Conference
The economy of India is characterized as a developing market economy. India is the world’s 5th largest economy by nominal GDP and 3rd largest by purchasing power parity. Notwithstanding India's progress on growth and inflation, some of the big challenges for the economy include weak investment, muted monetary transmission and slow GST collections. Further, the four major engines of the economy - private investment, exports, private consumption and now even public investment - have stalled which warrants some concern on the health of the economy. India should take leadership role on various international economic issues for mobilizing support from like-minded countries of the world for strengthening the bargaining positions of the developing countries on the current issues of negotiations. India is best suited to continue to be in the frame work of mixed economy in which public sector, private sector and co-operative sector co-exists. Keeping this in mind, the Department of Commerce, Bishop Heber College is organizing a One Day Conference for Academicians and Industrialists to share new ideas on “Current Issues in Indian Economy”.
Academicians, Industry Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Research scholars and Students. However participation from Government agencies and people from allied areas of commerce is also highly encouraged.

Interdisciplinary National Conference on Challenges Before Indian ConstitutionVol. 68 No. 37 (2020)
Interdisciplinary National Conference on Challenges Before Indian Constitution
Organized by: Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College, Urun-Islampur, Maharashtra
About the Conference:
It is a one-day interdisciplinary national conference on 'Challenges before Indian Constitution'. The study of the Indian Constitution is not only a part of political science, but other social sciences have been also their different perspective on the study of the Indian Constitution. The journey of the Indian Constitution begins from January 26th 1950 and completes at 70 years. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was the chief architect of the constitution who played role of the Chairman of the Drafting Committee. In Parliamentary democracy, constitution comes above the parliament. The constitution is a legal framework in which fundamental political principles are defined. It also narrates the structure, procedures, powers, and duties of the Government institution. It also ponders over fundamental rights, directive principles, and duties of the citizens. As compared to the content of other nations' constitutions, it is the world's largest constitution. The constitution is nothing but a basic structure of the Government and governance. The program and policies are also formulated by the government with the help of the constitution. The constitution has proved itself conceptually and contributes to form the welfare state . It also protects the rights of socially deprived groups. The various constitutional amendments have been amended in connection with land reforms, gender issues, child welfare, education, the welfare of labour, health care and the environment. These amendments are in the interest of the poor to make their life meaningful. The true empowerment is far away and nowadays there are so many challenges before Indian constitution like creation of new states, judicial corruption, violation of fundamental rights, religious fundamentalism, discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, sex, heredity, birthplace, etc. so to achieve the dignity and empowerment of every citizen and especially deprived sections of Indian society there is much more discussion to be come out.
