Abstract

Sivagangai is an managerial district of Tamilnadu. Located 45 kms south east of Madurai and 17 kms from Manamadurai. Sivaganga Palace is a fortress in Sivaganga districtTamil Nadu, southern India, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) from Madurai. The now decrepit Gowri Vilasam is built in the architectural style of the Tirumala Naikas, which has selected geographies of the Rajaputana arts. The Gowri Vilasam, the only share intact is the shrine of Sri Raja Rajeshwari, the family deity of the crowned heads. This was meant mostly for the women of the royal family. In obverse of it is an architectural splendor, in a messes. Paintings on the vault and sides in usual colours are still intact.
