E-commerce has reached to doorstep of a common individual in India it can be seen as barriers over the years. It has got huge success all over the world. A comparative study on Flipkart.com with one of the close competitor Amazon.com gives the information about success of Flipkart.com and amazon.com in present Indian market scenario. Trend analysis is the widespread practice of gathering information to spot a pattern. It is a technique used in technical analysis to predict the future stock movements based on observed trend data. The types of trend are: short, intermediate and long-term trend. It helps a future of e-commerce. E-commerce has broken the technological and geographical comparison of two firms. It helps to know the strength and weakness of a particular firm in comparison with other firm.
