Abstract
The study attempted to measure the export of agriculture goods to SAARC countries in India. India is an agrarian based country, which produces different kind of agricultural products. Considerable portion of agriculture goods have been exported to various countries in the world. Pulses, meat, cereals, dairy and poultry products, rice, maize, vegetables, groundnut and so on to SAARC nations are exported in India. Export of agriculture goods offers significant income to the farmers and better foreign exchange for the nation. In this way, the study has been initiated and employed data from 2010-11 to 2018-19 to assess the export of agricultural commodities. This study employed three kinds of data such as, export of agriculture goods and its performance, and factors influencing agriculture goods exports in India. The sample includes 7 countries and the data is collected for a period of 9 years, from 2010-2011 to 2018-2019. This study has employed growth trend, t-test, descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The findings showed that the share of Indian agriculture export has been rising during the period.
