Abstract

This research is based on the Employee Absenteeism in an organization. Absenteeism can affect individual productivity. Simply put, if someone works less, they're likely to be less productive. Employers should consider root causes, which include burnout, disengagement, as well as those that may require accommodations, such as child care or illness. Organizations should address these issues immediately. While legitimate leave of absence from work is usually taken as the norm and is indeed sanctioned in the form of annual leave and holidays apart from sick leave, in recent years, employees in many organizations have begun to take extended breaks from work be it for personal or health or any other reasons.
