Abstract
Green banking refers to the banking business managed in such a manner that helps for overall reduction of external carbon emission and internal carbon footprint. The present study attempts to understand the use of Green Banking Products in banking sector and examine the green banking performance by Public and Private Sector Banks in Vidarbha. Environmental sustainability plays a vital role in sustainable growth and development, as the integration of social, economic and environmental sustainability help to make the development sustainable. The Study aims to analyse the impact of green banking benefits on bank’s environmental performance in Vidarbha. The casual relational research design has been adopted in the study. The research paper follows cross-sectional qualitative research with descriptive outcome. The samples have been collected from the banks using conveniencesampling method. The research paper concluded the impact on bank’s environmental performance; green loan and green project. Similarly, the environmental training contributed mild to bank’s environmental performance.
