Abstract
Growth in marketing activities resulted into rapid economic growth. But this rapid growth is creating many a marketer problems for environment. For mass production use of advance technology to face severe competition unhealthy marketing factices and technologies are used, liberalization, Globalization, retailing by MNC created many problems so the term ‘Green Marketing’ developed giants factories have become the source of different pollutions. These all factors have threatened welfare of the societies and ecological balance. So the nature has started behaving in unnatural ways. Green means pure, pure means pure in quality and fair in dealing.
Green Marketing is the marketing of products that one presumed to be environmentally safe. It incorporates a broad range of activities including product modification changes to the production process sustainable packaging as well as advertising. It has several meanings which interest and contradict each other Green Marketing is also termed as environmental marketing, ecological marketing.
